the day i first met you, you told me you'd never fall in love. now that i get you, i know fear is what it really was. now here we are, so close, yet so far. haven't i passed the test? when will you realize, baby im not like the rest. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------lyric couldn't get more frustrated and pissed off that day. she was sick and tired of being on the island and it wasn't helping when people were pushing her buttons. its like everywhere she turned people were testing her. her day had just started off wrong and it was just going downhill. to calm her nerves she had decided she was going to go for a walk. her walk turned into a light jog, and that light jog turned to a full on sprint. anything to help the knots in her stomach unravel. running usually helped with that. the cool air hitting her rosy cheeks the farther she ran from her hut. going through the main campus and towards the cove. one place that was usually deserted. every once in a while she would run into someone, but it was a rate occassion, and she was hoping that she would be alone for the day. she was sure she was likely to snap on the next person who brushed her in the wrong way. the next person who looked at her even. she pushed herself to finish her run all the way there. her legs pushing through the stinging sensation. her lungs burning and begging for her to slow down for air. as she got closer her pace slowed, until she halted to a complete stop. breathing in and out of her nose and mouth. her hands going on the top of her head, letting more oxygen come in. as she caught her breath she continued her walk to the cove. wiping the beads of sweat from her temple, and pulling her hair out of the bun as she spotted the water. she wanted to be in it, but she was hot and tired so anything cool seemed satisfying to her. as she got closer and onto the sand she started to kick out of the running shoes she had put on. her hands reaching for the bottom of her shirt and was about to pull it off before she heard a noise behind her. making her jump and aware of her surroundings. she instantly frowned and shook her head. "i was here first, beat it." she glared over at the man who just showed up. then again he could have been here for a while and she just never really noticed. though right now she was not in the mood to have a confrontation with austen maine. "any moment now," she stared at him and her foot tapped on the ground. as if that was really going to work. so she might as well forget about taking a dip, cause she wasn't about to do that around him. "or is there something i can help you with?" TAG: AUSTEN / JENNERS. OUTFIT: CLICK. NOTES: <3

[/style][style=background-color: b1060b; height: 10px; width: 400px;] austen had been here on the island for a few months already, time had basically flown since he'd woken up in the middle of the jungle, lost, scared, and completely out of his element. he'd stumbled onto the beach late in the afternoon, surprised, and shocked at finding actual life here, and the questions had started to build up from that point. why are we here? it was the one thing that kept going through his mind, every day he was wondering the same question. what was the reason that they'd been placed here? away from technology, away from everything. there were no shops, no cars, no proper houses. just huts built out of palm trees and leaves. the whole thing was a crazy mess. but he was dealing with it the only way he could, separating himself from the rest of society, throwing himself into whatever work he could to keep himself busy. today though, he'd found himself down at the cove. he'd set up a few small nets in the water, weaved out of reeds and things, something he'd remembered from his days of being a boy scout - yet, austen maine had been a boy scout. those nets were now in the water near the reef, and he was hoping it'd do the trick of catching him something to eat for dinner. although, the camp always expected him to bring them back something to eat, especially if he was going to spend the day fishing.
of course, he hadn't expected anyone to stumble their way onto his little part of the beach that day. the cove was like a little secret to him, people knew it was there, but they rarely went over that way. if they wanted to swim, they tended to stay on the main beach, and away from the cove because of the cora that was growing in areas. they didn't want to damage it, or even risk slicing their feet open on them. he knew it was the best location though, which was why he spent most days down here, his shirt left back in the hut that he'd managed to build on the edge of the camp - with the help of a few others of course. catty as ever, are you song.. i mean lyric, it is lyric isn't it? weird name he added with a spiteful grin, his lips tugging upwards. i was here first, by the way. you just managed to stumble your way into my day, and i gotta say. must be your lucky day. he pushed up to his feet, dusting his hands down the knee length shorts as he wandered towards her. planning on swimming, kid? he glanced her over, reaching a hand to flick the strap of her bra.

the day i first met you, you told me you'd never fall in love. now that i get you, i know fear is what it really was. now here we are, so close, yet so far. haven't i passed the test? when will you realize, baby im not like the rest. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------she hated how he got under her skin. he could just look at her and her mood would change. sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. right now, he wasn't really helping her mood all that much. she crossed her arms and glared over at him. "song.." she couldn't help but laugh. the name mess up was classic, even though she knew better to take it to hurt. "we both know you know my name, don't try to play dumb, maine." she licked her lips, squinting as she saw his grin. what a grin. a grin she wasn't going to let get to her. she wasn't going to let anything he did get too her, at lease not badly. right now it was all just fun and "games". at lease for him, cause he hadn't seemed too effected by her presence. "my lucky day? i don't think so, you possibly just made it even more difficult." she said it dryly as she looked down at the ground and back at him. her eyes rolling and she let out a small laugh. "well im here now, so you can go. especially since you've probably been here all day, and i don't want you around. soooo," she snapped her fingers and pointed back towards the main campus site. it would make her day if he did what he was told for once in his life, but then again that wasn't austen. lyric didn't know him all that well. he didn't know her, and neither one of them took it into their hands to become extra close. she knew enough, and she also knew that he was cool to be around if you didn't mind a sarcastic mouth...or his attitude. she wasn't in the mood for either. she stood her ground as he moved closer to her, her body felling her. her stomach dropped with him being so near, and she had to clear her throat to focus herself. "perhaps." she slapped his hand away from her bra strap. "don't touch me, not in the mood austen." she shot him a look as she turned and walked closer to the water. just taking the time for the water to run over her toes. "i would like to go for a swim." she could have just went in the ocean, but she liked the idea of being alone. the cove wasn't the best place for a swim, but she was careful, and had done it plenty of times. "what are you doing out here anyways?" she questioned and moved back from the water and went to go sit where austen had just got up from. she glanced up at him, her hand covering her eyes so she could block the sun. she brought her knees up to her chest and rested her head on her knees. staring at him, licking her lips once more before looking back at the calm water.
