to say that lissy felt awkward in the elevator would be an understatement. she was used to dealing with people she didn't know, but never in such tight quarters, with no option of leaving. it seemed like the girl sammie and the guy who didn't mention his name had more going on than being stuck in an elevator, and lissy didn't want to have to deal with their drama. and the other girl, reagan, seemed a little too energetic, and is was almost like she was enjoying their little predicament. lissy just rolled her eyes at them, praying silently that the problem would get sorted out quickly and they could all leave. looking at her watch, she realized it had already been fifteen minutes since it had stopped, and she was certainly going to be late to work. she just stayed silent, hoping that time would pass more quickly that way.

"hes my ex's brother, that's the last thing i want, you can go with him to that room if you want though." turning back around she continued to try and push the big man down. "sorry, he is often rude and lacking in the brain cell department, his name is haldir."as samantha waited for haldir to sit down and get himself all comfortable, she turned around and smiled at the other two girls. "we all mid as well sit down and get comfortable, i still think were going to be here a while. maybe we could play some kind of a guy to pass the time, get to know each other. i mean, after all, we could die in this thing, we should know each other." samantha meant that more as a joke and to show it she smiled. "i was joking, i don't think we will die, but i do think we need a way to pass the time. anyone have ideas?"

Sure, it was nice to have any girl groping him like this, but for some reason because it was Sammie, he kind of wanted to be the groper, not the gropee. He looked at all three of the girls and sighed. The blond, Lyssa, had it been? Seemed to be mostly keeping to herself, though it could be because she had nothing to contribute to the conversation, which was fine by him. He didn't like talking much anyway. The red-head however, Reagan, the one that Sammie had pointed out she was starting to like, only because she was making him out as a complete idiot, which in fact he wasn't, seemed a little too chipper, and that didnt seem to be helping the situation all that much. Finally he moved Sammie's hands off of him, finally making eye contact with the brunette. "Alright! Just keep your skirt on!" He said. "Actually, you know what? Take it off." Haldir winked at Sammie as he sat in the back corner of the elevator, crossing his legs, and trying to take up only as much room as he needed. He was a big man larger than most. No, he wasn't fat, just tall and because of that everything else was made bigger to compensate, which he didn't mind, if you know what I mean?
With a second sigh, he nodded. Of course in the midst of everything, including his not quite evident anxiety towards the situation, he had "forgotten" to state his name. Not that it made a difference, he found. It wasn't like after this they were going to make some sort of lunch date and become like super best friends or whatever. He could actually bet that after today he wouldn't see the other two girls, because if fate wanted them to, he and Sammie would continue to bump into each other all over the world because, it was evident that the mythical entity did have a sense of humor, and it was actually quite a funny being.

After losing her mother to cancer when she was thirteen, Reagan had gained a whole new perspective on life when she and her little family moved to Honolulu. While others may have slipped into depression, Reagan had grieved naturally and then gradually built her life back up, trying to remain positive like her mother had been. Trivial problems didn't bother her like they bothered others and the fact that they were trapped in an elevator didn't bother her too much. She knew they'd get out eventually as someone outside the elevator was bound to realise that it wasn't functioning and notify security. It was only a matter of time.
She attempted to stay out of the banter that was going on between Samantha and Haldir, but in such a small space she and Alyssa were involuntarily placed right in the middle of a situation that was quite awkward. However, Reagan perked up as Samantha suggested they did something to pass the time. "I guess a game of 'I Spy' is out of the question? It's not very interesting in here." She replied lightly. "Are you all from Hawaii? What do you guys do for a living?" She began the small talk, but also, she was interested in trying to find clues that could explain why fate had apparently trapped her in an elevator with these particular individuals.

alyssa rolled her eyes when haldir told samantha to take her skirt off. he was definitely not the type of person that alyssa was dying to spend time with, and it just seemed to make the situation more awkward. but she just kind of ignored it and smiled at samantha. "a game sounds like a good idea, at least it will help to pass the time." sitting down in another corner, she listened as reagan asked whether they were from hawaii and what they did for a living. "i'm from los angeles originally," she said, deciding that it would be easier just to go along with whatever they were going to be talking about, even if she didn't care where anyone was from. "but i've lived in hawaii for the past twelve years, except for the four i was away at college." why she was telling a bunch of strangers about her life, lissy didn't know. it wasn't like her to share much, but it also wasn't like her to be stuck in an elevator in the first place. "and as for my job, i'm an emergency nurse, work in the er," looking at her watch again, she frowned, "and i'm officially late for my shift. but enough about me, what about you guys?"

"well i moved here about a month or so ago, transferred when i finished my summer program at medical school. before that i have lived all over and have probably moved about twenty five times since i was a teen. im currently working as an actress, a model, a medical intern at the hospital and a bartender some nights for fun." shrugging she knew she probably went on more than the others cared for. "have any of you seen my movies? iv been in a few big ones, couple big rolls on tv?" looking around it was already clear no one knew who she was, but that was fine, it was kind of the point. she was always changing her image so not the be followed by fans.

It seemed like just one more thing that the tree of them had in common, other than their gender, though he wasn't sure if that really counted. Haldir shifted as Sammie sat down in his lap. He smirked, taking care in taking advantage of the rare occasion, but would leave all of his "tricks" for a later period. Sure he wasn't sure if they were going to be rescued in the next five minutes, or the next five hours, but however long they were going to be staying here in this elevator, he was going to try and enjoy every minute of it.
Haldir exhaled sharply and groaned when Sammie elbowed him, looking at the brunette in his lap with a glare. Okay, now he was definitely going to have to get back at her for that. He peeled the back of her shirt up and slid his hand up her back with a sly smirk, but made the look casual. When the girls had finished talking about their lives, Haldir felt it only fair to give a glimpse into his own, only taking his hand from Sam's shirt and rolling his eyes. "No one cares about your acting accomplishments." He said letting his hands wander the sides of her thighs, dangerously close to the hemline of her short skirt. They would care about your sexual exploits with my brother, though." He chuckled, slipping a finger inside the hem of her skirt and playing with the soft fabric between his fingers, slowly and stubbly hiking it up.
"I'm orginally from New Zealand, but I came here for a vacation." He said, finally going along with the game. "And I'm an author. Maybe you've read my books: The Immortal Plains series." Really he was only mocking Sammie in his last statement. He didn't care if these girls had read his books or not.

Reagan just had a whirlwind of new information thrown at her and it was hard to keep up, but with her energetic personality, she managed. As Haldir degraded Samantha in the corner, Reagan frowned in disapproval, but chose to ignore his arrogant behavior for now. At Samantha's question, Reagan shook her head, smiling sheepishly. "No I haven't sorry, what's your last name? I'll look you up." She replied honestly, amused by the idea of seeing a person she had gotten trapped in an elevator with in a movie. This whole situation could be a movie in itself, really.
"I moved here when I was thirteen. Been a local for nearly ten years now." She began casually. "I work at the music store in this mall part-time, but mostly I'm a dedicated musician. My band has received some decent exposure locally, but we're getting ready to branch out with an album release in a few months. We're hoping to head back to the mainland for a tour. It's exciting stuff." She added with a hint of passion. Reagan didn't brag about her achievements (regardless how big or small they might have been considered by others), but she sure was proud of them.

alyssa listened as everyone gave a brief 'overview' of their lives. whenever samantha mentioned where she worked, lissy smiled a bit. "i thought i recognized you," she said, "well, not from your acting, sorry, i'm not big on tv or movies, but from the hospital. and now i know why." the hospital was a pretty big place, but lissy was there quite a lot, and got to know many of the people who worked there. "and, sorry, but i'm more into classic literature," she said in response to haldir asking if they'd read his series. she'd never even heard of the series if she was being honest, but she wasn't going to say it out loud. the awkwardness was slowly ebbing away as lissy got more comfortable, knowing a bit about the people with whom she was currently trapped in an elevator with. but the more they talked, it seemed like they had less and less in common, at least, lissy didn't seem to have any of the same kinds of interests. "so you're a musician? that's exciting," she said to reagan, "i played the violin when i was in high school, but that was a while ago." she didn't know why she threw that little bit in, she didn't think anyone would care, but now it was out there, and she couldn't take it back.

"that's really no ones business, especially yours. im sure the girls here neither care about nor want to hear about it." at first samantha tried to ignore haldirs lingering hand, however as it started to push her skit up, she could no longer ignore it. turning around in his lap, samantha punched him in the chest. "keep doing that and your going to be glad there is a emergency nurse in here, because im going to strangle you and leave you to die." she hissed before turning back around in his lap, shaking his head. "sorry, hes more of an immature kid than he is an adult." she muttered in an apologetic tone to the others. "no one wants to hear about your stupid books haldir." samantha said waving her hand as reagan started to speak about her music. "it sounds exciting. i hope things work out. i hear the music industry can be a tough nut to break, but you seem like your heart and soul are in it, so im sure it will work out." samantha smiled lightly, happy to see that the others hadn't been bothered by haldir immature nature. "oh and as for work alyssa, i thought i had seen you around too, but im all over the place i wasn't sure where. yea, iv only been there about a month, but i like it. don't worry about not seeing my movies and such, you probably wouldn't recognize me if you had. as for my last name reagan its jones. iv been in that football tv show, a few horror movies and some other stuff." it seemed the other two girls had a small musical connection, with alyssa playing the violin when she was younger as well. "i have to admit, i am musically inept. i cant even sing very well, except in my shower."

Then again, when did he have any good ideas when it came to Sammie? She did things to him. Made him at least ten years younger in his actions, and he had no idea how she was able to do it. Okay, so she was hot, but he doubt that was the cause. There were studies, okay not really studies, but people have said that when a boy likes a girl they tend to act like idiots, which in all respect, Haldir was definitely acting like one at that moment in the elevator. Sammie's attack on him wasn't unexpected, he figured something like that would happen, though he wasn't quite sure if it would happen to him in view of the other two girls that shared the space with them. He groaned and put his hands up, defensively. "Hey now, just having a little fun, Sam." He said, smirking. He licked his lips and turned his attention back to the other girls, and just began to listen, folding his arms across his broad chest to show that he wasn't going to get into anymore funny business.
When the topic of music came up, Haldir seemed to tune out. Music wasn't really his thing. Sure, he listened to it like most people, but in all realities he preferred his books and reading over the emotional powers of the musical world. He licked his lips and turned his eyes to the ceiling, focusing on the tiles above, but making no plans or move for escape. Honestly, he didn't really care he was stuck in an elevator anymore. He had Sammie in his lap and two other pretty girls in the same room with him. Life was going to be okay. Or so it seemed.

Being in such a small space, Reagan was forced to wonder about what was going on between Haldir and Samantha. They seemed to pretend to hate each other, but at the same time flirted like crazy. Reagan was confused by this, as whenever she was attracted someone, she was always straight forward about it. She wasn't one to play mind games, but preferred to be honest. The sexual tension between the pair was easy to sense...Reagan only hoped that it wouldn't escalate in the elevator.
Reagan perked up as Alyssa spoke of music. "I sing, play the guitar and a little bit of piano, I've always wanted to learn the violin though. You should pick it up again. If you've got any form of musical talent, I don't think it should be wasted." Reagan said with a friendly smile. "Nice one. I'm really into horror films, I'll definitely be sure to check those out." She said to Samantha, finding it fairly easy to converse with the two females...with Haldir, not so much...but she tried, she wasn't one to give up so easily. "So tell us about your writing, Haldir. What genre do you mainly write?" She asked, attempting to involve him in the conversation.
