Despite this fact, the longer he stayed here, the harder it was to remain a loner due to the various different personalities of the islanders. One of those personalities was the one of Saoirse, an interesting young lady who had first charmed Dominic with her beauty and then insisted on building an odd sort of friendship with him that was mainly based on a sexual attraction between the two. Being a man who had had many sexual based relationships in the past, he was more willing to embrace something like that on the island. He was a man with needs after all.
Dominic wasn't just interested in Saoirse's sex appeal, but also the fact that she was one of the survivors who had been trapped since the beginning, better yet, she was one of the ones who was still standing after all this time. This fact made Dominic think that being on Saoirse's good side was a good idea that could perhaps insure his own survival in the long run. He had played the loner game since first arriving on the island, but now he saw that building alliances was the best strategy in order to keep himself alive.
That afternoon, Saoirse had written Dominic a note, asking him to catch a fish for her in her usual flirty manner. He had agreed on one condition: she would give him a kiss in exchange for her dinner. There wasn't a whole lot of entertainment on the island, so Dominic had created his own game of cat and mouse. Dominic had caught a decent sized fish easily enough using a fishing net that had been sent in one of the previous parachutes that had been dropped off on the island. To insure that his prize would be worth it, he even gutted the fish and wrapped in a large leaf, before heading over to Saoirse's hut just as the sun began to set. He found Saoirse sitting out the front of the shelter. A small smirk curved onto his lip as he marched up to her. "Your fish, my lady. Gutted and ready to cook." He announced as he handed her the fish, clearly pleased with himself. |

[/style][style=width: 400px; padding: 10px; text-align: justify; text-transform: lowercase; font-family: calibri; padding: 10px;]saoirse found it easy to wrap males around her finger, particularly when it came to her natural good looks and flirting. it was all easy for her, but on the island, that side of her had been pushed to the back of her mind. she'd always had something else keeping her busy to even worry about who she was going to hook up with most evenings. she'd found herself on this island way to long, and had found herself a very steady position as a nurse for the other inhabitants. it was the one thing that kept her busy, almost every single day. there was always something new. whether it was a cut, or burn, or in some cases illnesses she was sure she wouldn't be able to treat without proper medication. but they were surviving, she was surviving that was the main thing. the upside would have been that all the islanders had a steady, healthy diet. while they may have lacked in some areas, they were creative with what they had. often enough she found herself thinking up new recipes almost every week, tonight it was a fish and mango salad, curtesy of dominic who had promised to bring her a fish in exchange for a kiss.
dominic was a gorgeous guy, there was no denying his good looks. but he was easy to play with, easy to wrap around her finger and easy to toy with. a kiss was nothing in comparisson to what she probably would have done in regards to obtaining that fish. she was of course a lonely girl, and someone with dominics stamina could probably have done her well. after a day down at the waterfall, cleaning herself up and filling some of the larger bottles of water to take back to the camp, she'd finally settled down out the front of her small hut. a towel was laid out on a few large palm leaves that were pretty much her own makeshift little porch. with only her bikini on she had her head leaned back against the solid side of the hut and was enjoying the afternoon in the only way she knew how. doing nothing at all. she'd written dom a note earlier that day in request for a fish, and now she was merely waiting for him to show up. but only moments after that thought had crossed her mind, there was his voice. oh finally she smiled softly, as she pushed up to her feet, taking the leafy parcel from his hand. been dying for some fresh fish all day she added, peeling back the leaf to look over it. you certainl are a prince, dom she set the fish aside, and stepped closer to him, her arm winding around his neck as she leaned in, pressing a tender kiss against his lips is a kiss really all the thanks you need? [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] The Words: idk The Notes <3 Dominic was far from being a romantic. He wasn't a hearts and flowers kind of guy. Sure, he knew how to act like that guy if it was required for a job or to put himself ahead in some way, but he had never been that guy. He didn't do the boyfriend thing because that would require opening up to someone on a completely new level. He found the companionship he needed through flings and one night stands, always one time occurrences where commitment was never an option...at least, that's what he told himself.
Dominic was able to step away from his loner role with Saoirse because he was fairly certain that she only wanted the same thing as he did: a fling with no strings attached. He could open up to her on a whole knew level, but even that level wasn't the real him...but it was the best anyone could get from him on the island so far. The pleased smirk didn't leave Dominic's lips as Saoirse observed his good work. The last thing that he needed was her approval, but he could tell that catching the fish for someone other than himself had been worth it when she kissed him tenderly on the lips. Dominic took this opportunity to wind his arms around her waist, subtly pulling her closer to him. "I'm not a prince, more like a dark knight." He spoke softly, a rare playfulness tinting his words. "I'm not a needy person, Miss Llwewlyn..." He began in reply to her question. "...but what I want is a whole other story." He added, a hint of seduction in his voice as he slowly moved in for another kiss, before abruptly moving away from Saoirse's embrace just before his lips could touch hers. He then casually took a seat on her makeshift porch, making himself at home.
"You could start by sharing that delectable fish with me..." He spoke expectantly, the playfulness still lingering behind his words. "...and well, where that might lead, is up to you..." He continued, the seduction in his voice returning for a moment, before he appeared to be unfazed by the whole situation. Sure, right now he desired nothing more than to bed Saoirse and unleash the wild side of him that he had bottled up for far too long, but the last thing he wanted to appear was desperate. This was him testing the waters, seeing how far Saoirse would go in order to have him for the night. Plus, he always did enjoy a little game of cat and mouse from time to time...when he was in the mood. |
